The hosts were fantastic , very helpful and gave us a lot of clues ,They were willing us to do well!
But it was our first escape room so we have an excuse at least - Would hate to fail a second time!
Despite not succeeding we had a fantastic time and it made for a memorable birthday for my son.

We were heading down to Hastings to celebrate my son's birthday and we were looking for something fun to do and I came across this while searching for escape rooms on Google, in the morning. I called Unlocked and Stewart was extremely friendly and helpful and got us booked in. When we arrived Stewart and Emma were ready and waiting to welcome us and they were so fun and friendly. We have done lots of escape rooms and this was by far and away the best 'player experience'. The game play itself was great as there were no padlocks- all electronic (based on Stewart's skills). I did find it slightly complicated, but it was super fun and the rest of my team didn't find it complicated at all. We did receive some clues through the phone, when it looked like we could have done with some help. All in all a brilliant experience and we can't wait to come back and try The Portal when it opens.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This newly opened Escape Room The Virus in Hastings was a great find. It was easy to book online and with a code supplied by the company, I was able to use my BlueLightCard Card for a discount. Good value even so. The Game was interesting and fun for the 5 of us that played.
It was well run and we could have as many clues as we wished for no time penalty. With this help we finished the game in 54 minutes which was great.
We will definitely return when their next game opens soon. Thank you, a great Saturday afternoon activity.

The room itself is brilliantly put together, a real thinker. My boyfriend and I were really into it, but unfortunately lacked a bit of the curiosity and she was wonderful at giving us clues to get us back on track. The way everything came together was fantastic and we loved it. So much fun, we highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back when the second room is open.

Great fun, puzzles are hard enough to get you thinking but everything you need to solve them is provided so also perfect for beginners.

Each game lasts for a maximum of 60mins but can be quicker if you solve it below that time

how many players can join a room?

up to 6 PLAYERS CAN JOIN IN A SESSION AT A TIME

are the escape rooms scary?

NOT AT ALL, THERE ARE SOME NOISE AND LIGHTING EFFECTs but certainly not scary

what happens if we don’t escape in time?

we will always do our best to offer clues throughout the experience but if you don’t make it out in time the door automatically opens.

do we need to book in advance?

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE, EITHER BY CALLING US OR THROUGH THE WEBSITE

is there any parking?

yes, we are just around the corner from Morrisons on QUEENS ROAD WHICH HAS 2 HOUR FREE PARKING AND YOU CAN PAY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL TIME THAT YOU REQUIRE
